TRAP is an Earth Observation satellite for very high-resolution imagery that can provide sovereign surveillance capability for defense and security purposes. Coming at a microsatellite class size and price, it offers an unparalleled tool in terms of costs and performance for independent very high-resolution imagery. The sub-meter native resolution is complemented by superresolution enabled by a combination of several images. With a 10km swath, the TRAP offers strip mode as well as stop & stare mode for increase image quality.
The sub-meter resolution allows us to run advanced algorithms for object detection and change detection. Thanks to the large database of vehicles, aircraft and vessels, we can identify the type and purpose of such objects, or uncover new operations around logistic hubs or frontlines. We have defined strategic, tactical and operational use cases that TRAP imagery can support. Furthermore, fast data processing and communications solution allows users to download imagery directly to their users in the area of need. Cyber security platform ensures sufficient encryption. The satellite can be delivered on the orbit or operated by us, based on the customer’s needs.
